No we do not!
We just move the concrete you ordered from point A to point B.
Let's say you wanted to build a small patio on a hill in your back yard
The cement truck couldn't possibly back up to that patio, and you definitely don't want to wheelbarrow several yards of concrete up a hill and hand fill the form.
That's where we come in, we pump the concrete through a hose and we are able to place it wherever you want so you don't have to move the concrete by hand.
If you need help finding concrete, or hiring a contractor we have many recommendations.
Don't hesitate to ask.
No we do not.We only place the concrete, it is up to you or your contractor to finish the concrete.
If you are a homeowner and you don't have any experience with how to go about getting that new patio you have always wanted in your back yard, then you are in the right place and we can get you pointed in the right direction!
Here are some generalities on how it usually works:
First and foremost, you are going to want to hire a General Contractor that specializes in foundations.
(We have a number of highly vetted industry professionals that we can recommend.
Your contractor is going to be your project manager.
He will be the one who builds your form.
A form is the wooden structure that you pour the concrete into so that the concrete holds it's shape as it dries.
Your contractor will also be in charge of ordering your concrete and hiring someone like us, who will come and place your concrete.
And your contractor will also be in charge of finishing (or smoothing) out your concrete.
Often times you will have a few to several people on any given project.
When you hire a contractor you are hiring a team of professionals who know how to get your project finished.
Your contractor will factor in how many people it will take to get your job done and then factor in their hourly cost plus or minus materials and then they will "bid" your job.
If you have any more questions don't hesitate to give us a call we are more than happy to answer any questions you may have even if you don't decide to work with us directly!
We only charge our customers for one way travel.
However, there are some exceptions to this rule
"The Customer is to provide a safe access to the site, with a waste disposal container or waste disposal ground location, suitable for lawful discharge of concrete pumping related waste to include buy not be limited to residual concrete. "The homeowner and/or the contractor are responsible for providing a washout location for our operators. If they are unable to do so, we will provide washout pools at $25.00 a piece. Which are to be left on site. A typical washout looks something like this:
"Customer will be responsible for the removal of concrete spoils left from the washout out of the concrete pump, if no location is provided; customer shall pay RCP an additional charge of $125.00 per hour for off site wash out or removal of concrete spoils "The homeowner and/or the contractor are responsible for providing a washout location for our operators. If they are unable to do so, we will provide washout pools at $25.00 a piece. Unless we are forced to washout off site which will then incur the $125.00 an hour fee.
"RCP will not be held responsible for delays caused by improper scheduling of trucks, changes in gradation of aggregates or incorrect batching of concrete or ordering a mix design that is not compatible with the material placement system requested "We are an hourly service, and as such will bill for the full time our operators are on site. We will make determinations on a case by case basis.
"RCP operators will not go on scaffolding or under houses"In the event your job requires our operators to go up on scaffolding, walls or under buildings, it is your responsibility to have someone on site to handle the end of the hose. We will not.
"Exceptions and claims shall be deemed waived unless made to RCP in writing two (2) business days after receipt of services; such claims shall not exceed the amount invoiced by RCP for services performed on the job the incident occurred"In the event something went wrong on your pour, and you feel that we are at fault. PLEASE contact us immediately. Your experience is our priority and we will, to the best of our ability, make sure that everything is taken care of.
